With a manageable trekking difficulty level, cozy teahouses for accommodation, and a chance to immerse yourself in local culture, it's an ideal choice for both novice and experienced trekkers.
Day 1: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga/Ulleri, then trek to Ghorepani (2,850m)
Drive from Pokhara to Tikhedhunga/Ulleri (~3 hours). From Tikhedhunga, start your trek through enchanting villages, terraced fields, and verdant forests. The trail gradually ascends towards Ghorepani where you'll spend the night.
Day 2: Ghorepani → Poon Hill (3,210m) → Nayapool → Pokhara
Rise early around 4am for the trek to the summit of Poon Hill. As the first rays of sunlight paint the sky, witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After soaking in the views, descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast, then continue to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.
